Mr.
John Stanley founded Tri-Dim with the vision of a media
specifically
designed for air filtration.
| Tri-Dim
addressed another issues, Efficiency Degradation from synthetic bag filters. Synthetic
medias carry an electrostatic charge that aids in increasing the filter
efficiency. The problem of efficiency degradation arises when the
electrostatic charged media
fibers become covered with particulate and the electrostatic charge
dissipates |
|
| – causing a dramatic drop in the
filter efficiency. ASHRAE is currently
considering an amendment to their test standard to incorporate a step
to emulate this phenomenon. |
|
|
Syn-Pac
XLII Hybrid Media Bag Filter
|
Tri-Dim, in response
to this phenomenon, developed the Syn-Pac XLII Bag Filter that offers
the advantages of synthetic medias but does not suffer from efficiency
degradation. Tri-Dim has had this filter tested under the proposed
ASHRAE 52.2 test and the results showed an 80-85% Filter performing as
MERV 14 or higher – as advertised. Efficiency Results you can
count on – Syn-Pac XLII.

Syn-Pac
XLII
extended surface bag filter uses an exclusive hybrid media to overcome
the problem of efficiency degradation of synthetic filters and the
fiber shedding of fiberglass bag filters.
Syn-Pac XLII bag filters are
available
- in 60-65% (MERV
12)
- 80-85% (MERV 15)
- 90-95% (MERV 16)
90-95% Syn-Pac XL II filter
also has a bacteria
efficiency rating of over 98%.
